We met this client at a local networking event last year. They were running a business within nutrition and wellbeing, as a partnership and were enjoying success with a growing customer base. As a duo they were managing all of the business admin, digital marketing, accounts as well as delivering the service, having to juggle a lot of it around school pickups and childcare.
When we meet new customers, we believe it’s really important to sit down and understand where the challenges are within the business and how can we help clients enjoy doing the bits they love whilst helping to grow the company.
They had reached their personal limits in terms of workload. They felt they weren't able to thoroughly focus on growing and nurturing clients. It was also important to them that the business appeared full time, open within normal business hours, even if they weren’t. They didn’t have the flexibility to answer calls 9-5 every day.
How We Work Together
We did an assessment of how the day to day business was being run so that we could build a bespoke solution that maximised our service for them. The first part of the solution was to tidy up the loose ends and overhaul some admin procedures, reorganizing their shared drive so finding client programs were easy and also recommending they work digitally on a to-do list rather than in a notebook.
PA20 call package, so we could take the calls, field new client enquiries and were available 9-5pm
Email management, responding to enquiries from the website and clearing spam
Admin support, evaluating current procedures, filing client information within a database, collating and organizing individual feedback forms.
Managing digital subscriptions and memberships, ensuring renewal and invoices are passed to accountant.
Having worked with them over the year, they’ve grown their client base by 50%, having the time to connect with new clients and develop new programs. Each client received focused time from them, who were leaving positive feedback for the business. We continue to work with them virtually and touch base face to face over coffee (or green tea) on a monthly basis.
